I am a graduate researcher for Dr. Melissa Skala in Medical Engineering at the Morgridge Institute for Research. I am using fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) to characterize the differences in the metabolic activity of breast epithelial cells as they progress from a normal phenotype to ductal carcinoma in situ and into invasive ductal carcinoma cells.
