Kathi Stanek, with more than 25 years of financial management experience, currently serves as chief financial officer and operating officer for the Morgridge Institute for Research.
Stanek previously served as controller for the private, nonprofit Morgridge Institute for Research and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, which patents and licenses inventions by scientists at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Stanek’s role at the Morgridge Institute includes oversight of financial operations ranging from federal grant administration and philanthropic engagement to the performance of the endowment that supports the work of Morgridge Institute researchers.
Education
Stanek is a licensed CPA and holds an MBA and bachelor’s degree in accounting from Edgewood College in Madison, Wis.
