I am working to uncover enzymatic activities of proteins of unknown function in the mitochondria. There are hundreds of mitochondrial proteins without a known molecular function, some of which have known associations with human disease. I am working to provide new functional characterizations of these proteins using high-throughput biochemical and non-targeted metabolomic techniques.
